A thrilling ride and a lift of the spirit for all ages on the beautifully hand-carved ponies! The Missoula carousel is one of the finest and fastest carousel in the country. You will find 38 permanent ponies, 14 gargoyles, gargoyle frames and mirror frames, and a wondrous band organ housed in a jewel box building. This is the result of a dream of a great cabinet-maker, Chuck Kaparich, and many hours of work from volunteers in the community. There is also a very special gift shop at the carousel. A place to find toys, games, art by local artists, souvenirs and carousel collectibles. Free rides and accomodations are available for those who are physical challanged.Tokens are only .50; one token under 19, over 55 and two tokens over 19 to 55. Come join us in the fun! The Carousel is also available for group events.
