The Holt Heritage Museum on the famous Lewis & Clark Lolo Trail or "Nez Perce Trail", features exquisite exhibits. You will find celebrity's western boots, the evolution of different types of saddles and tack, items from the Nez Perce, Salish, Kootenain, and Crows tribes. In their collection you will see "Black Robes", the history of the Jesuits featured from the first settelements in Montana, which pays tribute to Stevensville. The Holt Museum collection also displays original artwork. This must see private museum requires advance reservations.
