Description: Excellent trail, 2.5 miles, for an all-day family hike and picnic. Elevation is 4705 feet at the trail head 4840 at the falls.To get to these spectacular waterfalls, take the Cottonwood Lakes Rd just north of Seeley Lake. Travel east a little over a mile on this road the Morrell Clearwater Road # 4353 and turn north. Go 6.2 miles to the East Morrell Rd #4364 turn north and keep going another half mile to the trail head. The Morrell Falls Trail also leads past 26-acre Morrell Lake & Grizzly Basin. The trail is usually free on snow by mid May.
