Description:
The People's Center in Pablo, Montana, is located on US 93 about one hour north of Missoula. The facility is home to a collection of twelve hundred Native American photos, paintings, and archival documents for the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend'd'Oreille tribes. See the People's Center for attending pow-wows in the Mission Valley. If you make reservations, you can take part is some of the Center's activities like camfire-storytelling, overnighting in a teepee, dining on elk, buffalo, and huckleberries, or attending hide tanning and beadwork demonstrations. Group events and tours also welcome.
