Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) is the largest touring children’s theatre in the nation. The concept is based on a week-long residency during which a team of two actor/directors audition, rehearse and produce a full-scale musical with 50-60 local children as cast members. At present, our International Tour Project brings performing arts to 55,000 children from 950 communities in all 50 states, and 27 different countries around the world. Locally, MCT provides a full season of children’s productions, many of which are prototypes for our tour shows, and three world-renowned summer residency Performing Arts Camps in idyllic lakeside settings.
MCT Community Theatre, housed in the beautiful MCT Center for the Performing Arts, provides a full season of Community Theatre from October through May. Volunteer performers, musicians and occasional guest artists are the heart of MCT’s regionally acclaimed community theatre productions. From amazing musical extravaganzas to high drama to hilarious comedies, it is a season full of great entertainment! Season subscriptions are available.
