The following list details the tasks we believe are best left up to your conference committee.
- MATERIALS:
Proofread all final conference materials copy before they are provided
to the printer in a camera-ready format.
- ACCOUNTING:
Handle conference fund accounting (including: approving expenditures,
signing checks, and providing financial reports).
- PROGRAM OBJECTIVES AND FORMAT:
Identify the program objectives and expected format of the meeting.
- ANNOUNCEMENT:
Provide the next years conference information at the current years conference.
- COMMITTEES:
Define conference sub-committee chairperson assignments and responsibilities.
- EXHIBITORS:
Forward to ACM a list of potential exhibitors with their company name,
contact person, mailing and e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers.
- SPEAKERS:
Solicit and select speakers, forward to ACM a list of the speakers with
their names, mailing and e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers.
- MAILING LIST:
Give ACM an initial conference attendee mailing list.
