Description: The Seeley Lake Camp is located on one of a chain of five lakes nestled between the Swan Mountain Range and the Mission Mountain Range in Western Montana. It is located on a sandy 15 acre point, under the towering Western Larch trees, and on the shores of Seeley Lake. In the 1930s, a larger facility was needed. The Depression-era Works Progress Administration and the CCC began building the current facility in 1939. The log lodge and log cabins were completed in 1940. Because of its unique architecture, The Camp has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The camp was originally used by a variety of groups including the Boy Scouts and the Forest Service. Currently, the camp is used by summer groups looking for economical facilities and with lakefront access. The Camp may be rented to various groups for weddings, family reunions, and other gatherings where large groups of people need accommodations and kitchen facilities. The kitchen is fully equiped but bring your own pillow, linen, cook, and book.
