Description: Sleepy Hollow Hideaway is a spectacular ranch nestled amidst 20,000 acres of mountains, creeks, meadows, and forests. Located in the Big Belt Mountains, Sleepy Hollow has been part of Montana’s history for over 130 years. Allowing only a few guests at one time, guests experience the ranch atmosphere in a very real way. Sleepy Hollow nestles alongside a meandering stream under some towering willow trees with a friendly mountain overlooking the entire scene. Two acres of landscaped lawns surround the old lodge, log cabin, and cozy smaller cabin. The cabins are rustic but very comfortable. They all have showers, electricity, and wood stoves. A kitchen is also available. So what do guests do on a ranch? Well, use the ranch’s riding area or take your horse on a ridge overlooking miles of mountains and meadow, see the brightest stars in the world, pan for gold alongside a rushing mountain stream, hike or four wheel-drive to beautiful vistas, pitch in on some of the activities on the working ranch which may include checking on the cattle in the upper pastures, changing irrigation water pipes, or moving some cows. If leisure is what you after, jump on a horse and enjoy the exquisite beauty of the ranch followed by an evening next to the campfire. No schedules here, just kick back and enjoy all the many treasures of ranch living.
