Description: The ranch offers weekly or three night packages all beginning with a Sunday arrival. This beautiful ranch, first homesteaded in the 1800s, is located alongside a swift mountain stream in the high country of the Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by 2 million acres of primitive wilderness and overlooking the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park, the ranch provides a mixed pattern of riding and select variety of unspoiled trout waters. It is the perfect setting for the family to "rough it" in comfort while leaving the rest of the world behind. All meals are home cooked, family style and very informal with several outdoor meals scheduled throughout the week. Tables are grouped to match children's age brackets….teens with teens, and "smallfry" at their own table with a babysitter in charge. Adults are shifted with place markings for social variety. The children eat early while parents are relaxing at the Happy Hour in the rustic lounge (only ice and mixes are furnished so BYOB). The buildings are of log construction and can accommodate up to 70 guests at one time. Mom and Dad will even find time to follow their own interests at the ranch. The Kiddie Wrangler takes charge of the 6-9 year olds, teaches them to ride, and takes them on daily trail rides and the Babysitter looks after children under 6 on the playground or at the barn with short lead rides around the pasture. Saturday night features a square-dance in the barn "hay mow" and will have you dancing and clapping along with the music. The Nine Quarter Ranch provides an unforgettable family adventure designed for all ages and don't forget to bring your boots and hat or borrow one at the ranch.
